Class Description: This course provides the skills and knowledge needed for the Fire Officer 4 to safely, effectively, and competently develop a comprehensive long-range plan, exercise community leadership, administer a media relations program, complete an all-hazard risk and value analysis, evaluate and forecast training requirements, develop a succession plan, and develop a capital improvement project or program.
Prerequisites:
Meet the education requirements of OSFM Chief Fire Officer or Fire Officer 3 certification
Currently in the position of, or acting as, a Chief Fire Officer or higher
