About the Course

Dates: March 30, 31, and April 1, 2026
Times: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Class Description: This course is designed to assist structure and wildland firefighters who will be making tactical decisions when confronting wildland fire that threatens life and property in the interface. Topics include size up, interface awareness, initial strategy, structure triage, and protection tactics. Tabletop exercises will be used to enhance the learning.
Prerequisites:
Qualified as an NWCG Firefighter Type I (I-100, L-180, S-130, S-131 and S-190)
THIS CLASS WILL REQUIRE 15 STUDENTS MINIMUM
